From humble beginnings
The DeckSeal story begins with a husband, a wife, and an idea. This husband and wife team is Brian and Danielle Burgess, and this idea was born out of their passion for timber and creating charming outdoor entertainment areas.
Yearning for a new challenge, and with a whole lot of encouragement from the family, Brian and Danielle founded DeckSeal in 2007. The pair quickly realised that there was only one other company handling the restoration and preservation of timber decks and structures across Melbourne and the surrounding area, and that the market was ready for a new player.
With this in mind, they conducted research into timber, timber products, and specialist equipment, as well as what customers were looking for in Melbourne and across Victoria.

Over a decade on, Brian and Danielle’s customer focus, dedication, and hard work have paid off. They now have thousands of satisfied customers, each overjoyed with the level of service and quality they have received.
Brian and Danielle have also forged relationships with 20 key business partners, thanks to their unique and proven franchise model, making DeckSeal the largest deck and timber restoration and preservation company in Australia.
Demand remains high for the company’s deck cleaning, deck oiling, deck restoration, and deck maintenance services, as well as other services they provide to clients across Australia.
